Garage door service

Garage Door Installation

New doors measured, ordered and installed — including the springs, tracks and hardware behind them.

A new garage door is the largest moving thing on your house and usually the biggest single piece of its street view. It's worth getting the measurements, the insulation and the spring sizing right the first time.

We measure the opening, headroom and side room, walk you through panel styles and window options, and install the complete system — door, tracks, springs sized to the finished weight, rollers and weather seal.

Signs you're dealing with this

  • You're building, or converting a garage that never had a door
  • The current door is rotted, rusted or beyond economical repair
  • You want an insulated door on an attached or heated garage
  • The door doesn't match the house after a renovation or new siding
  • You want something quieter and better sealed than what's there

How the visit goes

  1. 1

    Measured in person

Opening width and height, headroom, backroom and side room all affect what will actually fit and which track configuration is needed.

  2. 2

    Options explained in plain terms

Steel gauge, insulation value, panel style, window placement and hardware — what each one changes and what it costs.

  3. 3

Complete install, not just the door

New tracks, springs sized to the finished door weight, rollers, hinges, weather seal at the floor and along the jambs.
