Garage Door Opener Installation
If your opener is old enough that parts are hard to find, or it's loud enough that you hear it through the bedroom floor, replacing it is usually money well spent. Belt-drive units in particular are dramatically quieter than the chain drives most houses have.
We size the unit to the door, install it, program your remotes and keypad, set the travel and force limits, and make sure the safety reverse works the way it's supposed to before we leave.

Signs you're dealing with this
- The opener is loud enough to hear through the house
- It predates safety sensors (units older than the early 1990s)
- Replacement parts are no longer available for it
- You want a keypad, phone control, or battery backup it doesn't have
- It's failed more than once in the last couple of years
How the visit goes
- 1
Matched to the door
Door weight, height and headroom decide the drive type and horsepower. An undersized opener wears out fast.
- 2
Everything programmed before we go
Remotes, exterior keypad, in-car buttons where they're supported, and the app if the unit has one.
- 3
Old unit hauled away
We take the old opener and the packaging with us.
