Garage Door Panel Replacement

Dented, cracked or backed-into sections — replaced individually where the door and model allow.

Backing into the door is common enough that it barely surprises anyone anymore. The good news is that a garage door is built in sections, so a single damaged panel can often be swapped without replacing the whole door.

Whether that's possible depends on the manufacturer, the model, and how old the door is — sections for discontinued doors can be hard to source, and a close-but-not-exact match tends to look worse than people expect. We'll be straight with you about which situation you're in.

Signs you're dealing with this

  • A dented or crushed section after a vehicle contact
  • A cracked or split panel on a wood door
  • A section that's separating or delaminating
  • Rot along the bottom section
  • Damage that's causing the door to bind in the tracks

How the visit goes

  1. 1

    We identify the door first

Manufacturer, model and panel profile decide whether a matching section can still be ordered.

  2. 2

    Honest read on the match

Color fades over years. On an older door a new section can stand out, and you should know that before ordering, not after.

  3. 3

    Hardware transferred and re-aligned

Hinges, rollers and struts move to the new section and the door gets re-balanced.
